Rebecca Medway is a senior survey methodologist at American Institutes for Research (AIR) with over a decade of training and experience in survey design and management. Her expertise includes writing and pretesting survey questions, designing mixed-mode surveys, managing survey operations, and analyzing complex survey data. Since joining AIR in 2012, she has provided technical advice on the design and administration of large- and small-scale surveys of both the general population and specific, hard-to-reach groups that are conducted in varied modes of administration. Prior to joining AIR, she has worked at the Joint Program in Survey Methodology at the University of Maryland, the Census Bureau, and Fors Marsh Group. She has a doctorate in Survey Methodology from the University of Maryland and has recently published methodological research in Public Opinion Quarterly and Survey Practice.
